The project site is located at the eastern edge of Nakchu Prefecture in Tibet, which harbors an extremely rich biodiversity.

Over the next 15 years, 1,200 acres of mixed forests will be established using native tree species; the project will sequester approximately 80,000 tons of CO2 over its 15 year lifetime.

The project is in the process of being registered with the Chinese Designated National Agency.
